Frequently asked questions
Everything drivers usually ask before booking a fiber-optic starlight ceiling.
How long does installation take?
Most starlight headliner installs are a single-day job. Smaller packages can be finished in a few hours, while 1,000 and 1,200 star builds with shooting stars usually take the better part of a day. We'll give you a time estimate when you book.
Will this damage my headliner?
No. We remove the headliner board from the vehicle and work on it off the car, so every fiber sits flush through the panel. Done this way the ceiling looks factory, and the panel itself stays intact. If your existing fabric is already sagging, we can replace it with suede at the same appointment.
Can I choose star colors?
Yes. Standard builds run a clean white starfield, and RGB controllers are available if you want to shift colors from the driver's seat. Shooting stars can be set to match or contrast with the main field.
Do you travel to me or do I come to you?
Most customers bring the vehicle to us in Hartville, Ohio. For nearby cities we can sometimes arrange pickup or an on-site install — just ask when you request your quote.
How much does a starlight headliner cost?
Pricing starts at $400 for a 200-star package and runs to $1,150 for a 1,200-star galaxy, with installation labor included. Shooting stars add $100 and a suede headliner upgrade adds $250. The configurator shows your exact total as you build.
Can it be removed later?
Yes. Because the wiring is hidden behind trim rather than glued to your interior, the system can be removed and the original headliner refitted or replaced if you're returning a lease or selling the vehicle.
